Our Commitment to Evangelism
At New Water Church of Faith, we believe that evangelism is at the heart of our mission. Jesus commanded His followers in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” We take this command seriously and strive to share the love and message of Christ with everyone we encounter.
How We Evangelize
Community Outreach: We engage with our local community through various outreach programs, providing support and sharing the gospel in word and deed. Mark 16:15 says, “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'”
Personal Witnessing: Our members are encouraged to share their personal testimonies and the message of salvation in their everyday interactions. Acts 1:8 reminds us, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Evangelism Training: We offer training and resources to equip our members with the knowledge and confidence to share their faith effectively. Ephesians 4:12 emphasizes the importance of equipping the saints, “to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
Special Events: We host evangelistic events where the Gospel is preached, and lives are transformed. Romans 10:14 asks, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
