Welcome to the Bible Study page of New Water Church of Faith in Davenport, Florida! We are passionate about studying God’s Word and applying its truths to our lives. Our Bible study programs are designed to help you grow in your knowledge of the Scriptures and deepen your relationship with God.
Why Bible Study?
Studying the Bible is essential for spiritual growth and understanding God’s will for our lives. As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 teaches us, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” We believe that immersing ourselves in the Word equips us to live faithfully and effectively as followers of Christ.
Our Bible Study Programs
Weekly Bible Study Groups: Join our weekly Bible study group on Tuesdays at 7:00PM Eastern to explore the Scriptures in a supportive and interactive environment. Hebrews 4:12 reminds us, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Topical Studies: Delve into specific topics and themes that address contemporary issues and personal challenges. Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
In-Depth Book Studies: Take a closer look at individual books of the Bible to understand their context, message, and application. Joshua 1:8 encourages us, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
